In year 2000, and year 2001, there was a physical separation of brethren in the Brotherhood of the Cross and Star into two paths It started in the year 2000 with the pronouncement of the Holy Father on Easter Monday. He declared that judgment has commenced within the fold of Brotherhood of the Cross and Star worldwide. The kingdom, Brotherhood of the Cross and Star is first judged and thereafter the whole world is judged. Certain events, soon after this pronouncement, started manifesting the judgment and resulted in the physical separation of the brethren into two paths with different beliefs on some of the key articles of faith taught and practised in the kingdom. These events are as a result of errors induced into the kingdom by Satan and the brethren so influenced have departed from the truth taught by the Holy Father Leader Olumba Olumba Obu, some of which constitute some of the pillars of faith in the kingdom. The events that have triggered the separation into the two groups are here in narrated so that the brethren misled by Satan into errors they have made may know the truth in these matters, correct themselves and return to the truth taught by the Holy Father.. It will also assist those people not yet called into the kingdom, to know the Holy Father's teachings on these subjects and benefit from the truth.
2.1THE SECRETARY GENERAL/HEAD OF ADMINISTRATION
In October 2000, the Holy Father appointed the Queen Mother, Her holiness Ibum Olumba Obu, the Secretary General and Head of Administration in Brotherhood of the Cross and Star worldwide. In this kingdom, worldwide administration is done from the Leader's office at 34 Ambo Street, Calabar. This office comprises two sections. The first part is the Brotherhood Executive Council made up of six members. His holiness Roland Obu is the Presiding Chairman of the council, and Her holiness Ibum Olumba Obu is the Secretary. There are four bishops in the council. They are Bishop Asuquo Ekanem, Bishop Superintending Evangelism and Publication, Bishop Matthew Ejedawe, Assistant Secretary, Bishop Opalla William, Bishop superintending Investment and Finance, and Bishop C. Akpan, Bishop in-charge of Estates. This Council was appointed in 1986 by the Holy Father. The Council is responsible to make all administrative policies in the kingdom, and also oversee the administration of those policies. All policies made by the council must receive the Holy Father's approval before implementation and all decisions must be consensus decision. No voting is allowed. In the year 2000 He added Bishop Obu Olumba Obu as Deputy Chairman and Deaconess Aja Obu as member. The Holy Father Himself is the eternal Head of Brotherhood of the Cross and Star. He is the head of the Leader's office and the Council. The second section of the Leader's office is the Brotherhood International Secretariat. The Secretary General of Brotherhood of the Cross and Star Her holiness Ibum Olumba Obu is in-charge of this section and administers the day to day activities in the kingdom and implements the policies. The disagreement started when the Secretary General was also titled Head of Administration with that appointment in year 2000. His holiness Roland Obu refused to accept her as Head of Administration. He felt that the appointment made the Secretary General, now also head of administration, and to sign all Brotherhood of the Cross and Star official documents that the Holy Father would Himself have signed, superior to him the Chairman of the Brotherhood Executive Council and therefore made him subordinate to his sister, Her holiness Ibum Olumba Obu in administrative matters. The Holy Father's directive is that Brotherhood Executive Council is responsible to make all administrative policies that are implemented by the Secretary General. Also Bishop Roland Obu is chairman of the Brotherhood Executive Council while the Secretary General is the Secretary of the Council. This means that he Bishop Roland Obu will always be aware of all that goes on in the administration because the Secretary General shall administer Brotherhood Executive Council decisions. He has refused to accept the Secretary General as Head of Administration. His supporters joined the resistance and tension arose.
2.2 THE CONTROL OF MATERIAL WEALTH OF THE KINGDOM
The Holy Father teaches that all material wealth: money, earthly position, wife, husband, children, houses, land, all material endowments are superintended in the spirit by the feminine and reach us through the feminine. All spiritual endowments: love, righteousness, peace, mercy, humility, spiritual power and all spiritual virtues and attributes are superintended in the spirit by the masculine and reach us that way. Males may be at the center of earthly accumulation and acquisition of riches presently, but they are governed in the spirit by feminine. The Holy Father at functions confirms this when He makes His own donation. He gives one envelope from the Mother to bless the members with the material wealth and gives another from the Father to bless the members with spiritual qualities of God. Thus, in this spiritual kingdom Brotherhood of the Cross and Star, the Holy Father first appointed His spouse, the Holy Mother Queen Elizabeth Obu and now appoints the first daughter, Her holiness Ibum Olumba Obu, to superintend all material wealth of the kingdom. His holiness Roland Obu, the first biological son, is to superintend the spiritual activities of the kingdom administration. He says that all things in this kingdom must be done as it is done in the spirit. This arrangement is rejected by His holiness Roland Obu and his supporters. In the traditional systems of the world, the first biological male child of the family controls the family property if the father is not there. So the followers of His holiness feel that he should be incharge of material wealth in the kingdom because he is the first male child biologically. The Holy Father says that both his holiness Roland Obu and His supporters are wrong. He in 2001 issued a formal power of attorney to Secretary General of Brotherhood of the Cross and Star Her holiness Ibum Olumba Obu to confirm the superintendency of the feminine over material things. This has led to tension in the administration.
2.3 THE KING OF KINGS, LORD OF LORDS
In this kingdom the Holy Father preaches that the incarnation of God now on earth is the incarnation of God the Trinity in one Being, Leader Olumba Olumba Obu. He is the Father, Son and Holy Spirit in one united incarnation. Our Lord Jesus Christ is the King of kings and Lord of lords, a title reserved for Him in this His second advent. He is here on earth in the united Trinity, embodied and manifest in Leader Olumba Olumba Obu. Our songs confirm and repeat same theme in our hymn book. But some years ago a visioner said that God revealed to him that there are three separate human beings who are God in our midst. He said that Leader Olumba Olumba Obu is God the Father incarnate, His holiness Roland Obu is God the Son incarnate, and Her Holiness Ibum Olumba Obu is God the Holy Spirit. The Holy Father denounced the vision as Satanic vision. Despite the Holy Father's admonition against this vision, this false vision spread within the fold. Brethren later abandoned the belief in Her holiness as the Holy Spirit incarnate but many persisted in the belief that His holiness Roland Obu is God the son incarnate and Jesus Christ in his second advent. Between 1998 and the year 2000 the Holy Father on two occasions in His vestry at Calabar informed the members of Brotherhood Executive Council, in the presence of both His holiness Roland Obu and Her holiness Ibum Olumba Obu that there is only one King of kings and Lord of lords in Brotherhood of the Cross and Star eternally. The title is a divine title and meant only for our Lord Jesus Christ in the second advent for He is the first begotten of God. He told His holiness Roland Obu that he Roland Obu is not the King of kings or Lord of lords and that only He, Leader Olumba Olumba Obu, has these titles now on earth. It is not an earthly title for man. Occasionally, He, Leader Olumba Olumba Obu, can send out somebody on a specific assignment in the world and does authorize the person so sent to bear that title while on that assignment on His behalf. An example of this is when He sends His holiness Roland Obu once a year on the King of kings' movement to somewhere, and there to bless the world. On return from that assignment, he the person sent, reverts to his normal ministry and title, and not the King of kings or Lord of lords. He also confirmed that He the Holy Father is the Sole Spiritual head of the universe eternally and no one else. I am, by the Holy Father grace, the Bishop incharge of evangelism in the kingdom. It became my responsibility to inform the world of this truth and let brethren know the truth. In December 2000, the Holy Father delivered an address through me at an open air service in Akwa Ibom State of Nigeria and for the first time openly rebuked that false vision which made three separate human beings as God, each human being as one person in the Trinity. The followers of His holiness Roland Obu have been unhappy about this development and revelation of this truth and still insist that His holiness Roland Obu is Jesus Christ incarnate, King of kings and Lord of lords. They erroneously associate him with the prophecy in Hebrews 1: 6 and claim he is the first begotten Son of God stated therein. They have introduced some strange doctrines and practices into the kingdom alien to the Holy Father's doctrines. They now pray in the name of Roland Obu, a practice that is against the teaching of Leader Olumba Olumba Obu. The Leader only authorized people to pray in the name of Jesus Christ and from Easter Monday 2000 to pray in the name of Leader Olumba Olumba Obu. He has not authorized anybody to pray in the name of Roland Obu. His followers mount his photographs on their altars in bethels forcibly seized from brethren in many places in the world and now openly worship him as their god. He is called and addressed as if he is Leader Olumba Olumba Obu. Such conduct confuse the uninformed people over the identity of Leader Olumba Olumba Obu and that of His holiness Roland Obu. Therefore, statements, actions and even teachings emanating from his holiness Roland Obu are mistaken for those of Leader Olumba Olumba Obu, and some of those actions and teachings are contrary to the authentic and known teachings and actions of Leader Olumba Olumba Obu. We know and the world knows that the teachings and actions of Leader Olumba Olumba Obu are of God and therefore holy and true always. This declaration of Bishop Roland Obu as God and Jesus Christ incarnate has led to tension.
2.4 THE FAITHFUL RELOCATE FROM 34 AMBO STREEY, CALABAR TO UYO
The above disagreements between the brethren who accept the teaching of Leader Olumba Olumba Obu on those matters stated above and all other teachings and insist that all brethren in Brotherhood of the Cross and Star must obey the Holy Father in all things and those brethren who support His holiness Roland Obu in his rejection of these teachings of the Father escalated to a level where the supporters of his holiness Roland Obu physically assaulted the believers and loyalists of the Holy Father and drove them in 2001 out of 34 Ambo Street, Calabar, Nigeria and proceeded to seize some bethels all over the world from brethren who refuse to worship and accept Roland Obu as Jesus Christ incarnate. The loyalists of Leader Olumba Olumba Obu have now set-up a new headquarters at Uyo, Akwa Ibom State, Nigeria and started to gather all loyalists of the Holy Father worldwide into one fold and carry on with the teachings and the practice of the words of Leader Olumba Olumba Obu. The Bishops of the Council have tried to get His holiness Roland Obu to accept and abide by the Holy Father's teachings and directives especially on these main areas of disagreement. He has refused and his followers have proceeded with him to carry out even more contrary actions.
2.5 THE EARTHLY CORONATION
As of now the supporters of His holiness Roland Obu have organized an earthly crown for him and claim that the Holy Father crowned him a successor. This is not true. A new king cannot reign in the same kingdom when another king is already on the throne and is alive and well. Leader Olumba Olumba Obu is alive, well and He has not handed over to anybody. Besides, the King of kings and the Lord of lords is the Spiritual Ruler over all creation. He does not sit on an earthly throne or wear an earthly crown. He wears a crown made of God's glory. All the earthly rulers are under him. Leader Olumba Olumba Obu does not sit on an earthly man made throne. His throne is the celestial and eternal summit of power and life. He does not wear an earthly man made crown. His crown is the glory of God fully manifest in Him. He truly is the King of kings, Lord of lords. All creation, man inclusive, see these qualities of God in Him and worship Him. The crowns written about in the Bible that the King of kings shall wear on His second advent on earth are godly virtues of power, love righteousness, justice, mercy, humility and all other virtues of God. He will have them in full and manifest them openly for all to see. All creation, mankind inclusive, will see these godly virtues and power in him, will accept his authority over them and will come to kneel, serve, and worship him. Even the children of God (the elect) will have at least one of these qualities especially love and righteousness. The followers of His holiness Roland Obu erroneously think that the crowns spoken about in the Bible are earthly man made crowns, so they proceeded to make one for him. But the first Son of God mentioned in Hebrews 1: 6 is our Lord Jesus Christ. Leader Olumba Olumba Obu says that He Leader Olumba Olumba Obu is the Father, the Son (Jesus Christ) and Holy Spirit incarnate in one unity and only Him and no one else.
2.6 THE PURPORTED EXCOMMUNICATION OF SOME MEMBERS
His holiness has been made to publish names of members who are not willing to worship him as god and says that he has expelled them from Brotherhood of the Cross and Star. This is an error again. Leader Olumba Olumba Obu preaches that Brotherhood of the Cross and Star is a kingdom, the kingdom of God on earth. All members are citizens. All kingdoms or countries, each has its constitution that lays down rights and privileges and code of conduct in all facets of life for the citizens. A citizen of a country cannot be deprived of his citenzenship under any condition. Here in this kingdom, the teachings and words of the Holy Father Leader Olumba Olumba Obu constitute wholly and totally our constitution. It is very binding on all throughout all creation. The citizenship of a member is very central and serious matter. Every baptised member of Brotherhood of the Cross and Star has put on Christ and he becomes a citizen of this kingdom. It is forever and no one can deprive him of the citizenship. The Holy Father says in His gospel that even He Himself cannot strip any body of that citizenship or even suspend him under any condition. God is to guide, teach and judge every member. Thus Bishop Roland Obu has no power or authority to suspend or expel any member from Brotherhood of the Cross and Star. All these and several other resistance to the words and directives of Leader Olumba Olumba Obu by His holiness Roland Obu and his followers have led to tension between the devotees of Leader Olumba Olumba Obu and the followers of Roland Obu and finally to the separation between the two groups. We must know that this kingdom is the spiritual kingdom of God on earth and is solely operated and based on spiritual principles taught by Leader Olumba Olumba Obu, and not on earthly principles and traditions of men. Earthly principles and tradition of men have no parts to play in any thing in this kingdom. It is the introduction of earthly knowledge, earthly principles and traditions of men into Brotherhood of the Cross and Star by Satan using brethren deceived by him, that is responsible for all the erroneous steps and rejections of the Holy Father's directives and teachings that have occurred in the kingdom. We pray to God our Father to illuminate the spirit of the followers and the brethren misled into errors by Satan so that they can understand, accept and abide by the teachings and directives of Leader Olumba Olumba Obu so that they may also benefit from His grace, His peace, and His transformation power. Since then, the kingdom, though one kingdom, has been separated into two groups. The first group believes in Leader Olumba Olumba Obu as the Trinity God incarnate in our midst, the Sole Spiritual Head of the Universe, the King of Kings and Lord of Lords. He is the Leader, the Head and Ruler of Brotherhood of the Cross and Star eternally on all planes of manifest. He has no deputy or assistant or successor. We are all His children called to receive his transformation power into righteousness and Christhood of God. This group gives all glory, honour and worship to Leader Olumba Olumba Obu only. God has gathered members of this group, though small in number and rallied them behind the Holy Queen Mother and the Brotherhood Executive Council and together they have kept the brethren faithful and loyal, devotedly to Leader Olumba Olumba Obu. The second group of brethren are now the followers of Bishop Roland Obu foremost in their belief. They worship him as divinity and god. They proclaim him Jesus Christ in the second coming and pray in his name. They mount his photograph in their altars and worship him. These events and open resistance against the Holy Father's authority is something no person who believes in, and devotes himself faithfully to Leader Olumba Olumba Obu ever thought could happen in Brotherhood of the Cross and Star. It had however been predicted and even the Holy Father hinted about it.
2.7 WHY HAS IT HAPPENED?
This event has origin in the spiritual. It is not a physical event. The physical events that have resulted in the separation into two groups are the agents to cause the separation physically. The separation had already occured in spirit on Easter Monday 2000 with the Holy Father pronouncement of judgment in Brotherhood of the Cross and Star. It is time for the greatest assignment of Leader Olumba Olumba Obu to begin. He has come to transform man's nature from sinfulness to righteousness and set up God's kingdom on earth. He has already completed the first part of His mission. This first part was to teach man and lead man to the accurate knowledge of truth. He taught this for forty years. All that man needs to know about himself, about his relationship with other creation, about God his Father, and about God's will for him has been taught by the Holy Father. It is now time to set up the kingdom of God on earth: Brotherhood of the Cross and Star. He had made it clear that the kingdom had not yet started. Everything we saw was just preparation for starting the kingdom. The kingdom was in square zero as He normally says.
2.8 SPIRITUAL TRANSFORMATION OF MAN NECESSARY BEFORE THE KINGDOM STARTS
God's kingdom is a kingdom of righteousness. The entire citizen will be elects of God, and christs of God. They must be the temple of divine love, so that righteousness shall abide in them and be practised by them always in their life. Man developed a sinful nature after Adam and Eve disobeyed God in the Garden of Eden. Man was cut off from direct communication with God. He therefore gradually lacked knowledge of truth and consequently and erroneously carried out thoughts, words, and actions that conflict with God's will for him. (became sinful) He has remained sinful till now. His sinful nature must be transformed into righteous nature if he must do the will of God. Not all the people are capable of being transformed by the power that is manifested now for they are not of His Spirit and not of Him. Only a small group can be beneficiaries of the intended spiritual transformation. So those capable of being transformed must be separated from those incapable of being transformed. Zechariah confirmed this in his vision of judgement, transformation and test. "And it shall come to pass, that in all the land, saith the Lord, two parts therein shall he cut off and die; but the third shall be left therein. And I will bring the third part through the fire, and will refine them as silver is refined, and will try them as gold is tried: they shall call on my name, and I will hear them: I will say, it is my people: and they shall say, the Lord is my God". Zechariah l3 : 8-9
The third part is the minority part and are the elect and faithful of God. They are those who have now been persecuted and pushed out of the Brotherhood of the Cross and Star headquarters, Calabar by the majority group who are led by the Spirit of error.
2.9 SELECTION HAS STARTED
The Holy Father says that there are three types of people presently born in the world and some called into the kingdom. There are the children from above with celestial spirit (the elects), there are the children of this earth (with Adamic spirit), and there are those that will suffer perdition. God is selecting them out now accordingly such that those for transformation (the elects) and some children of this earth with Adamic Spirit shall be prepared by Him to inherit the kingdom of God now on earth.. So the kingdom is judged and purged of those who cannot benefit from the coming spiritual transformation by God into the required righteousness. The Holy Father emphasizes about these three groups of people on earth and in the kingdom.
The first group of people are the elects of God. The elects are from Heaven. They are God's spirits and are incarnate on earth now. Some have been called into the kingdom. All will eventually be called into the kingdom. They are on earth, part of God's army on earth to wrestle and take this world from the control of Lucifer, the Devil. They are God's angels, former prophets, saints, faithful believers, workers and followers of God of old, and are now on earth to receive their reward and glory and rule over all things with God now on earth in Brotherhood of the Cross and Star.
The second group are those with Adamic spirit. They are of this earth and are of the same spirit as that of Adam, man's forefather. They come from God, but have been contaminated on earth by sin. God is here to unite His Holy Spirit with their human spirit, and transform them into permanent temples of righteousness and love. Together, with the elects of God, they shall inherit God's kingdom on earth.
The third group are of Satan the Spirit of Error and have the same spirit of rebellion and resistance against God's will in them. They are incarnate on earth in large numbers in every community where man is found. Their mission from Satan is to provide stiff opposition to the success of God's work to transform man from sinfulness to righteousness. They will lure the spiritually unwary man or woman of the first two groups above and lead them astray and make them refuse to accept God and God's words into their life. They will, using whatever influence they have, perpetuate all manners of evil and cause the unwary people to forsake God. Many of them will be leaders and followers in the religions of this world. They are there in churches, secret societies, cult, and even in the government of this world. They are there already. It may not be easy to identify them as agent of Lucifer judging by the exalted positions they occupy in these places and organizations. They will lure people into materialism, carnality, Satanism, demon worship, greed, and godlessness. They will claim that they are serving God and doing God's will. They will destroy the churches, religions, government, and economies of this world. Even the families will not be spared by their activities on earth. They will themselves be destroyed by God during judgement and judgement has started already.
Judgement starts first in the churches and religions of this world. It has
started in Brotherhood of the Cross and Star. The religions are first judged
then the governments and the economies are judged. Be aware of this. Satan is
very active now on earth, and his agents, incarnate in human form are
everywhere misleading mankind away from God. You must be spiritually vigilant
and stay under God's umbrella of protection to escape the evil times. Do not be
deceived by the works of the agents of Lucifer whether they be in so called
miracles and in other works of power or in the promise of earthly wealth and
position, or their assumed democratic credentials. Put all your trust in God
now incarnate on earth with man. He is here to teach, guide, protect and save
man from the evil plans of the Devil and finally to transform man into
righteousness so that man shall inherit God's kingdom. The Holy Father has
preached a gospel on transformation of man from sinful nature to righteousness
nature. In it, He has warned that some people with Adamic spirit on earth now
may not benefit from the transformation power that God has now showered on
earth. Some brethren, even now in Brotherhood of the Cross and Star are already
in rebellion and resistance to Leader Olumba Olumba Obu's teaching and
directives. If they continue in this resistance and rebellion to the Holy
Father's teachings, they may lose out on the transformation. They are many and
they have chosen another god for themselves. They feel the Holy Father is tired
or has not been in physical regular activities for sometime now so they need a
new ruler and god. This has long been the act of disobedient and unstable
people against God. The same and similar majority of the people made a god of
golden calf and worshipped, when Moses was delayed on the mountain by God and
was not there to perform his normal leadership role to the children of Israel
on their way from Egypt to Canaan. "Saying unto Aaron, make us gods to go
before us: for as for this Moses, which brought us out of the land of Egypt, we
know not what is become of him. And they made a calf in those days, and offered
sacrifice unto the idol, and rejoiced in the works of their own hands."
Acts 7:40-41, We must pray and be vigilant.
