Man needs extra ability to bear the cross and tribulation that he will see in
the practice of divine love. Our Lord Jesus Christ confirmed it. He said that
everything He did was by the divine power given Him by God His Father. On His
own He can do nothing. So man needs God's power to be able to practise divine
love. Without the love and power of God we can do nothing: "Believest thou
not I am in the Father, and the Father in me? The words that I speak unto you,
I speak not of myself, but the Father that dwelleth in me, he doeth the
works". (John 14: 10)
This divine power is the attribute of God the Father. It comes from Him. Unless
man receives power from God the Father, man cannot practise divine love, cannot
be the temple of divine love and christ of God,cannot be transformed into
righteousness, and cannot inherit the kingdom of God. God the Father is God of
power and will. God the Son is God of love. Without the Father, man cannot have
the Son in himself and cannot be a christ of God (anointed of God). We need
this spiritual power and strength from the Father.
We Need Extra Spiritual Strength
