TEXT OF DISCOURSE:
LUKE 10: 1 - END
GUIDELINES:
Beloved, this kingdom is meant for hard working people who are
ready to get into the vineyard of God and serve Him diligently. This is because
the hope of the entire world is in this kingdom. Therefore, it is imperative
that you go into every nook and cranny of the world and inform the people of
this truth and glory. By doing this, you are gathering disciples for God. He
has given each and everyone of us a mandate to go out and make the entire world
His disciples. But, unfortunately you have not taken this mandate seriously.
You should be informed that your judgement, compensation and
position in this kingdom are determined by your effort in God's vineyard. Our
Lord Jesus Christ set a worthy example for us by sacrificing every other thing
to make the entire world the disciples of God. And since we are His followers,
we need to strive at making the entire world one, under the control of one
Shepherd.
All the norms of this kingdom must be followed strictly, for they
are all from above. And as you go into the vineyard, you must ensure that you
remain one in the place you are visiting. Do not move from place to place, so
as not to cause problems for people.
Read Luke 10: 3 - 6
Go your ways: behold, I send you forth as lamb among wolves Carry
neither purse, nor script nor shoes: and salute no man by the way. And into
whatsoever house ye enter, first say, Peace be to this house. And if the son of
peace be there, your peace shall rest upon it: for not, it shall turn to you
again.
This particular mandate, given by God is very essential, for it is
through your enthusiasm towards it that the world can be reproved and saved. It
is also through your apathy towards it that the entire world could be damned
and destroyed. Hence, you are given guidelines to follow as you go about
evangelizing the world.
Many people often wonder why you do not use shoes, tie and the
other gorgeous attires. But has the text of this bible class not spoken for
itself? The guidelines given for evangelism do not include such attires. The
guidelines are such that will not permit you to complain of your shoes. bag,
cloth, staff etc, being stolen sometimes, somewhere. We have been told all
these things so that our works may correspond duly with that of our Lord Jesus
Christ. Once you go with many loads, your state of mind, concentration and
interest shall be centered on your loads and no more on the spiritual
assignment. The Apostles/Evangelists who violated these guidelines when they
visited Liberia had their extra loads seized in that country till date. Because
of their disobedience, they were arrested and imprisoned as saboteurs while
travelling to Ivory-Coast. That was the aftermath of disobedience.
People are deaf and blind. They do not know their left from right.
Therefore it is the duty of Brotherhood of the Cross and Star members to go
into the world, reprove it and to rekindle hope in people.
If you go into the vineyard and show the people this light, glory
and salvation, and they receive same, there will be joy, peace, love and God
will be pleased. But if you spend all your days with the Father without going
out to preach, and reprove the world, you will not have any reward since you
are just an idler in the kingdom.
The Holy Spirit is in our midst now and you are the right people
to go out and inform the world of this truth. If you could recall, you would
realize that Peter once baptized about three thousand people in a day And I am
here longing to see when one person from this fold shall baptize up to that
number a day.
The Father has revealed Himself to all and sundry in the world. He
has finished the work in the spirit. All that is left for you to do is to go
and accomplish the work physically. In fact, the people of the world have
always been waiting for you to come and reprove them, for they know that you
are the embodiment of the Father. Do not limit your areas of operation to
Nigeria only on the lame excuse that you do not have a passport or a visa.
Instead, go from one nation to the other, for the immigration, customs and
police officials are always waiting to facili1ate your movement.
Do not complain of lack of money. After all, several testimonies
have been given about people who left for evangelism without money and food,
but while disseminating the divine teaching, people brought them money, food
and the like necessities of life. Before now, the Holy Spirit was not
personified, yet people were gathered for God; since he has been personified,
we have no excuse not to go out and gather people for Him. The Holy Spirit
personified embodies everything we may need in life and equally, we are also
the embodiment of such things. But pathetically, doubt had hitherto deterred us
from entering into the world and reproving it.
Read Luke 10: 7 - 10
And in the same house remain, eating and drinking such things as
they give: for the laborer is worthy of his hire. Go not from house to house.
And into whatsoever city ye enter, and they receive you, eat such things as are
set before you. And heal the sick that are therein, and say unto them, The
kingdom of God is come nigh unto you. But into whatsoever city ye enter, and
they receive you not, go your ways out into the streets of the same, and say.
YOUR FIRST EMPLOYMENT:
Many people do claim to be unemployed, Others think that to be a
missionary amounts to being jobless. But it is imperative that everybody
regards the mandate given in this lecture as his or her ultimate task to
accomplish. Many people have been applying in several establishments for
employment without being employed. This is as a result of their failure to take
up this particular mandate first. It is after one might have taken this mandate
that every other thing is added to him.
Brotherhood of the Cross and Star is known everywhere. So go and
inform everybody of the Holy Spirit that has personified in the kingdom. BEFORE
THE PROPHET MOHAMMED DIED, HE ADVISED HIS FOLLOWERS (THE MOSLEMS TO WAIT FOR
THE HOLY SPIRIT. HE WAS REFERRING TO THE SAME HOLY SPIRIT WHOM OUR LORD JESUS
CHRIST BORE ELOQUENT TESTIMONY ABOUT. Since you have realised that the said
Holy Spirit is personified in our midst today, you need to go and inform
everybody of His presence on earth. Make sure you do not tell them of the
coming of Olumba Obu. Tell them about the Holy Spirit because without Him
nobody can do anything. Hence, He has come to unite the entire world as one
flock under His leadership, so as to lead it in a right way Brotherhood of the
Cross and Star members have been made to see clearly, so you need to go out and
open the eyes of the people of the world. Brotherhood of the Cross and Star is
not a church like most people claim it to be. After all, a church constitutes a
body without a head. Rather, Brotherhood of the Cross and Star is the kingdom
of God wherein dwelleth righteousness.
THE GAINS OF EVANGELISM:
Brother Mohammed Gambo Shehu from Sokoto once testified of how he
was given forty thousand naira (N40, 000.00) by Alhaji Shehu Shagari, the
former President of Nigeria, for bringing the good tidings of this kingdom to
him. So, all the things you need in life are right there in the vineyard.
Therefore, it is expected of you to go into the vineyard and have all your
heart desires granted. If you dare stay idle in the house, you will continue to
suffer deprivation in life. The entire world and its affairs have now stagnated,
hence, strikes have become the order of day in most places. Note that you are
everything, to the world, therefore, the world's liberation lies entirely in
your hands.
Read Acts 19:1-7:
And it come to pass, that, while Apollos was at Corinth, Paul having
passed through the upper coasts came to Ephesus: and finding certain disciples,
he said unto them, Have ye received the Holy Ghost since ye believed? And they
said onto him, we have not so much as heard whether there be any Holy Ghost.
And he said unto them, Unto what then were ye baptized? And they said, Unto
John’s baptism. Then said Paul, John verily baptized with the baptism of
repentance, saying unto the people, that they should believe on him which
should come after him, that is, on Christ Jesus. When they heard this, they
were baptized in name of the Lord Jesus. And when Paul had laid his hands upon
them, the Holy Ghost came on them; and they spake with tongues, and prophesied.
And all the men were about twelve.
THE SCOPE OF OPERATION:
I have been teaching you always so that you may be able to
represent me effectively anytime, anywhere. Now, the Father, Son, and the Holy
Spirit is in our midst. Therefore we have the ability to do mightier works than
what the people of old did. Do not limit your area of operation to people's
homes, instead, go to the prisons, hospitals, markets etc and inform the people
of this truth. Everything you want is derived from evangelizing the world. But
as a result of doubt, disobedience and faithlessness, you attach no importance
to the said work, thereby being deprived of God’s blessings.
Read Luke 10: 11-20
Even the very dust from your city, which cleaveth on us, we do
wipe off against you: notwithstanding be ye sure of this, that the Kingdom of
God is come nigh unto you. But I say unto you, that it shall be more tolerable
in that day for Sodom, than for that city. Woe unto thee, Chorazin! Woe unto
thee, Bethsaida! For if the mighty works had been done in Tyre and Sidon, which
have been done in you, they had a great while ago repented, sitting in
sackcloth and ashes. But it shall be tolerable for Tyre and Sidon at the
judgement than for you. And thou, Capernaum, which art exalted to heaven shall
be thrust down to hell. He that heareth you heareth me; and he that despiseth
you despiseth me; and he that despiseth me despiseth him that sent me. And the
seventy returned again with joy, saying, Lord, even the devils are subject unto
us through thy name. And he said unto them, I beheld Satan as lightning fall
from heaven. Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions,
and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.
Notwithstanding in this rejoice not, that the spirits are subject unto you;
rather rejoice, because your names are written in heaven.
Your names are not written here on earth, but in heaven therefore
it is wrong for you to hunt for the material things of this world. If you shun
this mandate which is not a man’s mandate, you have shunned the mandate given
you by your Father in heaven. You should note that there are many people who
are yet to come into this kingdom. Those who have beer called have their names
in the book of life and have been charged to go out and accomplish this
assignment.
Do not consider any other thing while embarking on this task, for
you shall surely see what the Father would use you for. For instance, though
the Father of the two white Christ’s servant is a millionaire, they did not
mind that, they rather went into the vineyard and abided strictly by the
instructions of God as recorded at Matthew 10:9-10. "Provide neither gold,
nor silver, brass in your purses, Nor script for your journey, neither two
costs, neither shoes, nor yet staves: for the workman is worthy of his
meat."
Read Luke 10: 21-28
In that hour Jesus rejoiced in spirit and said, I thank thee, O
Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that thou hast hid these things from the wise
and prudent, and hast revealed them unto babes: even so Father; for so it
seemed good in thy sight.
All things are delivered to me of my Father: and no man knoweth
who the Son is, but the Father, and who the Father is but the Son, and he to
whom the Son will reveal him. And he turned to unto his disciples, and said
privately, Blessed are the eyes which see the things which ye see:
For I tell you, that many prophets and kings have desired to see
those things which ye see, and have not seen them; and to hear the things which
ye hear but have not heard them.
And, behold, a certain lawyer stood up, and tempted him saying,
Master, what shall I do inherit eternal life? He said unto him, What is written
in the law? How readest thou?
And he answering said, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all
thy heart, and with all thy soul and with all thy strength and with all thy
mind; and thy neighbor as thyself. And he said unto him, Thou hast answered
right: this do and thou shalt live.
HAVE YOU REALISED YOUR DUTY? YOUR DUTY DOES NOT CONSISTIN
SCRAMBLING FOR POSTING FROM ONE BETHEL TO THE OTHER ON THE BASIS THAT YOU ARE A
CHRIST STUDENT, CHRIST SERVANT, PREACHER, AND CHILD OF GOD, ELDER, ETC. ALL
THAT MATTERS IS YOUR WILLINGNESS TO GO OUT AND TELL THE PEOPLE THIS TRUTH.
I WANT YOU ALL TO TAKE THIS MANDATE SERIOUSLY AND START THIS
OPERATION IMMEDIATELY. THE FIELD IS RIPE AND THOSE FILLED WITH THE HOLY SPIRIT
TO PERFORM IN THE VINEYARD ARE MANY, COMPARED TO THE DAYS OF OLD WHEN ONLY
TWELVE APOSTLES WERE FILLED WITH THE HOLY SPIRIT.
Now the question is, which amongst the material things that abound
in this world is preventing you from taking up the above mandate and being
blessed abundantly with those converted by you? The material satisfactions are
temporary while the satisfaction derived from serving in the vineyard of God
enormous and indeed enormous and in deed everlasting. You take delight in
trading, marriage, executing contracts, etc. but little do you know that as far
as you have shunned this mandate of going out to preach to people, you cannot
see the light of day, neither can you see the progress in anything you engage
in.

Then said Jesus to them again, Peace be unto you: as my Father has
sent me, even so send I you. And when he had said this, he breathed on them,
and saith unto them, receive ye the Holy Spirit (Ghost): Whosoever sins ye
remit, they are remitted unto them; and whosoever sins ye retain, they are
retained. But Thomas, one of the twelve, called Didymus was not with them when
his disciples were within, and Thomas with them: and then came Jesus, the doors
being shut, and stood in the midst, and said, Peace be unto you.
Then saith he to Thomas, Reach hither thy finger, and behold my
hands; and thrust it into my side; and be not faithless, but believing.
And Thomas answered and said unto him, My Lord and my God. Jesus
said unto him, Thomas, because thou hast seen me, thou has believed: blessed
are they that have not seen, and yet have believed.
And many other signs truly did Jesus in the presence of his
disciples, which are not written in this book: But these are written, that ye
might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing ye
might have life through his name.

Often times, you limit your services, praise and the like duties to
34 Ambo. What are your reasons for doing this?
Read Acts 19: 8 - end.
I want you to stop scrambling or-struggling for positions, money
and the like material things. You should only struggle to take up the mandate
given in this particular bible class lecture.
Let all hands now be on deck. We all should be ready to go out
with all amount of enthusiasm into the vineyard and do the works of God. For an
adage has it that "should the tree not fall the axe shall not be put to
rest.
Let my palace and blessings rest and abide with the entire world
now and forever more. Amen.
